Qualified social worker and legal academic specialising in mental health and social work law.


Michael is an experienced teacher and supervisor across social work, health and social care, and specialist law courses (including family law and public law). During his career in education, he has focused on the quality assurance of teaching and learning, and he is able to teach and supervise with a clear eye on the quality and consistency of the end product. The learning journeys of students is something Michael feels very passionate about, and Michael always endeavours to facilitate sessions with maximum participation, respect for individuals, and an openness to discussion.
