I am a member of the nursing academic team, teaching on a variety of programmes including: BSc Adult Nursing, Trainee Nursing Associate and the Trainee Assistant Practitioner Programme.


I have recently joined the academic team, having previously undertaken a variety of teaching and clinical roles within the NHS. I have spent the majority of my career working in Intensive Care and have broad experience from large teaching hospitals, including Guys and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and the Bristol Royal Infirmary. My current research interests include the transition of newly-qualified nurses' into Intensive Care.

Charlotte teaches a variety of different subjects across the undergraduate nursing programmes. She has a particular interest in teaching clinical skills and the care of the acutely unwell adult. She employs a variety of teaching methods and enjoys trying new techniques, in particular utilising clinical simulation.
