Alex leads on strategy and performance in sustainability and is responsible for delivering our sustainability programme, embedding sustainability into academic experiences as well as university operations.
She leads the sustainability team and is director of RCE Severn – our Regional Centre of Expertise in sustainability education acknowledged by the United Nations University.
Alex previously taught with the Open University and has managed major education change initiatives in sustainability working with the Quality Assurance Agency and Advance HE.
She was awarded National Teaching Fellowship status in 2017, is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts.
