Andre Van Rooijen

Senior Lecturer in Games Design

I don’t think there are many things more exciting than working in a multi-disciplinary team of passionate game developers. Except for the sensation of being in a store and seeing a kid walk up to the till with the game you worked on for months. Chevron icon

Trained as a traditional painter and sculptor, I worked for more than 15 years on design and development of computer games for clients such as Adidas, Sony and Intel. These include Idol Hands, Fluid Football (iOS/Android), Adidas miCoach (PS3/Xbox 360), Let’s Dance with MelB (Wii/PS3/Xbox 360), Xyanide Resurrection (PSP/PS2), Xyanide (Xbox), Autobahn Raser IV (PC/PS2), Paris Marseille Racing II (PC/PS2), London Racer II (PC/PS2) and many more! As an Artist and Art Director I have produced visual designs and coached art teams working on both original IP and licensed products across all major interactive platforms including PC, consoles and mobile.?
