Management Accounting has played an important role in my career. I have had diverse roles as a Management Accountant, Financial Controller which has enabled me to work in hospitality and companies such as The Gambling Commission. I completed my professional chartered accountancy qualification in 2007 and I think that is a reflection of the enthusiasm I have for my subject. I am passionate about bringing ‘real life’ examples into the classroom. I find teaching a very rewarding role and I personally enjoy passing my experience and enthusiasm over to my students. I am passionate about students learning employability skills, professionalism with working closely to the accountancy professional bodies. I have also completed my Masters in Accounting and Finance and understand the journey that students experience.
