Biography

My passion is athlete wellness. Understanding how the body works, why it breaks and how to fix it, interests me. Coming from a Sports Therapy background, I have a natural passion for injury, rehabilitation and getting an athlete back to optimal performance. I am lucky to be working in the community of Sport & Exercise at University of Gloucestershire where Sports Therapy, Sport and Exercise Science and Strength & Conditioning are drawn together as an interdisciplinary team.

Research

My research interest is in athlete wellness and the use of therapeutic intervention to support this. I am currently undertaking a PhD investigating the stress and immune response to exercise and recovery intervention.
