I’m experienced in a range of technical and creative skills which have enabled me to develop a varied portfolio, including custom app. solutions. I graduated as the highest-graded undergraduate student from Gloucestershire in 2009 in Multimedia.

Biography

Since graduating as the highest-graded undergraduate student at Gloucestershire, I have pursued a career in higher education as Academic Course Leader in Digital Media and Web Technologies. I enjoy technological challenges such as new software applications or programming languages.

I have industry experience as an eLearning courseware developer, media developer and mobile app. developer – developing for both iOS and Android platforms. I have also worked for Content Master delivering high quality training materials for various blue-chip companies, including Microsoft, IBM, Orange and T-Mobile.

Research interests include developing software methodologies to support blended learning approaches to higher education. I would welcome expressions of interest from prospective research students in areas such as mobile technology, mobile medical applications, mobile applications for speech and language therapy, eLearning, mLearning, mobile games, oculus rift, serious gaming, mobile learning, UX (User eXperience), human computer interaction, storyboarding for computer games & digital libraries, online help-system applications in teaching & learning, and formative assessment methods.
