I\u2019m also a published writer in media studies and have taught media production, film and television studies, and screenwriting at universities for over twenty years.<\/p>\n<p>I co-edited the collection <em>The Multiple Worlds of Fringe: Essays on the J.J. Abrams Science Fiction Series<\/em> (McFarland, 2014) and have published essays on various genre and cult television series, including<em> Alias<\/em>, <em>Deadwood<\/em>, <em>Justified<\/em>, and <em>Veronica Mars<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve taught, made films and have published various essays for many years.
