Blended Learning

Nursing (Adult) BSc (Hons)

Balance studying at degree level whilst maintaining your lifestyle. Discover our blended learning options for BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult).

Our Adult Nursing blended learning course has been developed in partnership with Health Education England. It includes the same innovative content and structure as the on-campus BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult) degree – approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

The blended learning option gives you the benefit of online teaching and in-person learning at Oxstalls campus in Gloucester for skills and assessments, and an NHS ‘Practice Pod’ location that you can pick from Bristol, Bath or Swindon, where you’ll undertake your placements. Find out more about the pod locations below.

This is a full-time course which allows you to carry out placements in your chosen location. You’ll benefit from direct links with the local NHS practice – getting to know policies, procedures and contacts within your pod’s NHS trust and increasing your potential for successful employment in that area following graduation.

Students applying for this course may be eligible for the NHS Learning Support Fund, which provides a non-means training grant of £5,000 per academic year, to help with living costs plus an additional £2,000 for students who have parental responsibility. Contact the Money Advice Team for further information.
