What is Cheese Rolling and Exercise Sciences BSc (Hons)?

Home to the famous Gloucester cheese, Gloucestershire is also home to the infamous cheese rolling race. This is why we have curated the best course in the country to help you win this coveted competition.

Featured in the Netflix series We Are the Champions, the Cooper’s Hill Cheese-Rolling and Wake is an annual event held near Gloucester. Participants race down the 200-yard-long hill after a nine-pound round of Double Gloucester cheese.

The event has been a staple of Gloucestershire’s spring-time calendar since 1826. This now world-famous tradition continues to grow in popularity every year.

It’s a pleasure to teach this course to the next generation of cheese-rolling champions. I myself have competed 6 times over the years – only 1 broken leg!
