I was the first recipient of the Deutsche Borse Photography Prize 1997 and was nominated for the Turner Prize 2001. I recently wrote and directed my first feature film, Ray & Liz, made entirely from my own lived experience of growing up in the West Midlands during the 70s and 80s.
