Graduation information

Based on recent Government announcements, including the roadmap to end lockdown, we believe we will be in a position to hold physical graduation ceremonies in November as planned. We are looking forward to celebrating your achievements with your family, friends, tutors and the rest of the University.

While we are very hopeful that your ceremony will go ahead, we must follow the requirements and guidelines for large events in place at the time, and so we ask you to bear in mind that things may change between now and then.

We want to make sure these ceremonies are particularly special this year. In addition to inviting you and your guests to celebrate in person with us, we will be live streaming your graduation so that anyone who cannot attend will be able to join with you online. We are also developing plans for an exhibition to showcase student work and achievements, and we are working with the Students’ Union to host a Graduation Party on Friday 19 November (please note change to the previously advertised date). Early bird tickets and graduation merchandise are now available on the SU website.

Booking tickets

The deadline for booking graduation tickets has been extended until Monday 4 October 2021

Note: Any students who have not yet received their results should not wait to apply and we will refund if you do not complete your course. If you do not apply before the deadline your tickets will be put on general sale as additional tickets so we may no longer be able to guarantee you or your guests a place at your ceremony.

Please book your tickets through Student Records Online. You can purchase up to four guest tickets (in addition to your graduate ticket).

If there are any additional tickets available after the initial booking period, these will be released in October. This will also be dependent on any restrictions that may be in place at the time.

You can book your graduation gown and photography here.

Please remember to keep your postal address and email details up to date with us via Student Records Online to make sure our mailings reach you.

If you have any questions about graduation, please email graduation@glos.ac.uk and we will do our best to help you.
