What is UCAS Clearing?
It’s your chance to get a place at university. It takes place between July and October each year.
It’s a great opportunity if you’ve missed the conditions of your offer, are applying for the first time, or had a change of heart about the university or course you’ve applied for. Whatever your situation, this is your opportunity to take your life in an exciting change of direction.

Clearing Visit Day
Come along to our Clearing Visit Day on Saturday 15 August – 11am – 1.30pm to get a taste for student life at UoG.
Meet academic staff, take a student-led campus tour and explore our accommodation options.
We’re also running weekly campus visits on various dates between 24 July until 26 August.
Guaranteed accommodation
We’ll guarantee you a place in halls on, or near the campus you’re studying at.
All you need to do is accept a place through Clearing and apply for accommodation by Friday 21 August 2026.
