Academic partners and courses

We work closely with carefully selected partners to deliver our degrees at several UK and overseas locations.

We understand that not everyone is able to come to us to study.

Students wanting to study a University of Gloucestershire programme come from a variety of backgrounds and have varying levels of experience.

This is why we work closely with carefully selected partners to deliver our degrees at several UK and overseas locations.

When students apply to study, they can also apply for existing learning and achievements to be recognised to avoid any duplication of previous learning. We have agreements in place with a number of partners to guarantee progression and recognise entry with advanced standing onto specific courses.

Our academic partners collaborate with us to deliver validated study programmes taught at schools and colleges around the world.

International agents

We also work with a number of international agents across the world to support the application process for international students.

Franchised provision

A franchised programme is the result of the university approving an academic (collaborative) partner organisation to deliver an existing University of Gloucestershire undergraduate or postgraduate award-bearing programme.

The university retains overall responsibility for the programme’s content, learning and teaching and assessment strategies, the assessment regime and the quality assurance arrangements.

Validated provision

A validated programme is one that has been designed and developed by an academic (collaborative) partner, but has been approved by the university to lead to a University of Gloucestershire award.

The programme is subject to University of Gloucestershire regulations and quality assurance processes.
