If you join UoG you’ll receive a whole range of benefits, including 37 days annual leave and enrolment onto the Teachers’ pension scheme. Plus, if you’re new to teaching we can support you to complete Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) along with on-the-job training and courses to build you career in teaching.

COUNTRYSIDE AND COMMUNITY RESEARCH INSTITUTE

In addition to the 3 schools, UoG is home to the Countryside and Community Research Institute (CCRI), which plays a significant role in shaping rural development policy and practice in the UK, Europe, and beyond.

CCRI has been recognised as “an internationally excellent Research Institute with world-leading researchers” in the REF 2021 assessment, with over 85% of its research judged as internationally significant, rigorous, and high quality.
