Staff Profile: Adam Gain Lecturer in Dance
Lecturer in Dance
Performing Arts and Play
I have performed professionally for a variety of contemporary dance companies, travelling all over the world. I specialise in dance teaching and inclusive dance practice, as well as improvisation and choreography.
I have a strong background in dance performance, having toured internationally for companies such as James Wilton Dance and Candoco Dance Company. Throughout my professional career I have taught creative workshops and technique classes all over the world and continue to personally explore improvisation techniques. I am also interested in other physical disciplines that can inform dance such as Capoeira, Parkour, martial arts and rock climbing.
