Academic Subject Leader, Journalism

I've been working in the media industry for more than 20 years, both as a journalist and a television director. I have produced content for organisations including the BBC and The Sunday Times.

I've worked as a journalist for some of Britain's top media organisations.

I've written for national, regional and local newspapers, and produced content for BBC News Online. I've also worked as a producer and director on current affairs shows, factual programmes and documentaries, which have been broadcast on BBC1, BBC2 and BBC4.

My career highlights include winning a prestigious Royal Television Society Award for a programme I produced and directed, featuring Homeland star, David Harewood.
