​​​​​​​Located in the heart of Gloucester, Oxstalls is just 15 minutes’ walk from the city centre giving you easy access to the city’s clubs, bars, shops, theatres, venues and cafes. We are also just around the corner from Kingsholm rugby stadium, home to Gloucester Rugby and host to a number of Rugby World Cup matches in 2015.

If you’re a sports student you’ll love our labs and facilities, including our onsite performance lab, strength and conditioning suite, sports therapy clinics, fitness suite, and our all-weather pitch.

Investments to the campus​

In 2018, the University of Gloucestershire's School of Business and Technology moved to a brand-new, state-of-the-art home at our Oxstalls campus. The £18 million development is home to our Business, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Law and Accounting and Finance courses.

Other recent investments to Oxstalls campus include our new centre of enterprise, The Growth Hub, and the new Performing Arts and Events Centre.​

Oxstalls intergrated sports park

We have just invested £9million in transforming our Oxstalls campus. Take your game to the next level in our brand new; international-standard sports arena. This exceptional facility includes seating for 1250 people, enabling us to host major events.

Our new international-standard 3G pitches sit within the same complex, along with dedicated pitches for football and rugby, and a new cricket pavilion.

Brand new Performing Arts and Events Centre

The new purpose-built £2million Performing Arts and Events Centre at Oxstalls includes a dance studio with a harlequin-sprung floor, full lighting rig and sound, an acoustically designed music and singing room, a drama studio with a full lighting rig and a multi-media studio.

Bars and events

Each campus has its own Students' Union (SU) bar, where you’ll have opportunities to run your own events in addition to a number of SU run events. We hold several balls a year, the highlight being our summer ball, held at Cheltenham Racecourse. Attracting over 5000 students, it’s certainly an event not to be missed.
