Announcing a new series of collaborative events offered by South West Universities Care network aimed at Post-14 care experienced students and care leavers: University is for You!
We are now taking bookings for the University is for You! event at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester. The event will take place from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Tuesday 28 November 2023, and will follow the below agenda:

| 10.30am – 11.10am | Why go to uni / Choosing uni and course – hosted by University of Gloucestershire | Session for supporting adults Navigating uni choices and UCAS – hosted by TBC |
| 11.10am – 11.40am | University support session – hosted by University of Bath and Bournemouth University | |
| 11.45am – 12.30pm | Student panel – hosted by Bournemouth University | |
| 12.30pm – 1.10pm | Lunch – Lunch will be provided to students and staff | |
| 1.10pm – 2pm | Exploring campus – Campus tour with HE-themed games and challenges | |
| 2pm – 3pm | Subject taster sessions offer by RAU Attendees can select a workshop upon arrival | Session for supporting adults Support for care leavers at university |

South West Universities Care is a collective working group of higher education practitioners in the South West. We aim to share best practice and host collaborative outreach activities to support care leavers and care experienced students to access and engage with higher education.
These events are a collaboration between Bournemouth University, Royal Agricultural University, University of Bath, University of Bristol, University of Exeter, University of Gloucestershire, University of Plymouth and UWE Bristol.
