Silver Olympic winner for men’s rugby sevens team
Ex-Nuneaton rugby player and university alumni, Ruaridh McConnochie is proudly the owner of a silver Olympic medal. Ruaridh made a late substitute appearance in the Rugby Sevens final at the Rio Olympics but had to bow down to Fiji with their gold win of 43-7.
