University of Gloucestershire degrees to be delivered in Myanmar

As part of its international strategy, which aims to support educational developments in this emerging economy, the University of Gloucestershire will be working closely with Gusto International College in Yangon to make two University of Gloucestershire degree programmes available to local students.

Mr Win Htein Win, Managing Director of Gusto International College, recently visited the University of Gloucestershire to formalise the agreement.

Over the coming months, staff from the Business School will work closely with Mr Win and his colleagues at Gusto International College, which already runs a successful HND in Computing, to launch degrees in both Computing and Business.

Dr Richard O’Doherty, Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the university, said “This is an exciting partnership for the University of Gloucestershire which will see us operating in a new and emerging economy. We have a real opportunity to enhance the local provision and make an international-standard degree available to Myanmar students.”  ​
