Xposed Club at University Festival

Ernst Reijseger + Ghost Mind
Thursday 9th June, 8pm – 11pm
The Chapel, Francis Close Hall Campus, University of Gloucestershire, Swindon Rd, Cheltenham, GL50 4AZ.
Tickets £7 / University of Gloucestershire students free!

Ernst Reijseger returns to the University of Gloucestershire’s Xposed Club for his only UK performance this year. It’s been seven long years since his last sold out performance in 2009 and he returns as part of the University Festival, a series of events and activities for staff, students and the local community to celebrate the end of the academic year.

As an internationally renowned cellist, composer and collaborator, Ernst has written the soundtracks for many of Werner Herzog’s films as well as being a member of the ICP Orchestra (or Instant Composers Pool) and the Clusone Trio with Michael Moore and Han Bennink.

With support from Ghost Mind, the surreal, soundscaping, improvising four-piece trio – the
other one is a ghost – this promises to be a memorable evening of experimental music in the
stunning setting of Francis Close Hall Chapel.

Tickets are available via Stuart Wilding, swilding@glos.ac.uk or on the door.
