The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is an Acute Trust that provides healthcare services in Swindon and the surrounding area and has around 1.2 million patient contacts a year. We offer the latest treatments and care in hospital, in the local community and in people’s own homes.
We provide a range of specialist services from the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, located just off junction 15 of the M4. Our large and modern hospital has around 480 beds, numerous outpatient clinics, CT and MRI scanners, maternity services, an Intensive Care Unit, an Urgent Care Centre and a 24/7 Emergency Department. We also support people staying well and out of hospital, managing long-term conditions, and provide care in local community facilities and people’s own homes across Swindon.
