Teaching & Research

Teaching

Fiona is Academic Subject leader for Film, Television and Animation. She teaches across Sound Design for Film and Television, Experimental Film Making, and Documentary.

Research

My practice-based research centres on the interplay of poetics and the visual; with an interest in female portraiture and the use of the close up in experimental visual work. All my film work is mediated through sonic reduction and aims towards the aural/visual vanishing point.
