Deborah Slade is a registered nurse who is passionate about learning, teaching and nursing.

Biography

Deborah’s clinical career spanned over 30. She has worked in a variety of clinical areas which include medicine, surgery, gynecology, nursing older people and critical care.

In 2014, Deborah moved into an educational post teaching a variety of subjects for example moving & handling, conflict resolution, The Care Certificate and mentorship.

As a professional education facilitator, Deborah was also involved in nurse education both at local and regional levels.

  • Dip HE in Nursing Studies Canterbury Christchurch University College, 1999
  • RN part 1 Canterbury Christchurch University College, 1997
  • RN Part 2 Cheltenham School of Nursing, 1982.
