Senior Lecturer in Events Management

As a cultural events manager I’ve had the privilege of working with many amazing performers and in a wealth of fabulous settings. Bringing an event to life is challenging and rewarding in equal measure – there’s nothing like it!

Biography

As Course Leader for Events Management and degrees incorporating Events, I teach on a range of modules which particularly explore the operational challenges of making events happen. My professional background as a cultural events manager greatly informs my teaching, and I am able to employ my experiences in areas such as arts sector fundraising and programming to support student learning.

Teaching areas include operational events management, music and cultural events, celebratory events, sponsorship and fundraising, event production, financial management and human resource management.
