Save the date: UoG to host Family Fun Day on 26 July
Children’s games, a bouncy castle and live music are just some of the many attractions at University of Gloucestershire’s inaugural Family Fun Day.
The fantastic community event will feature a host of entertaining activities for the whole family to enjoy, including a scavenger hunt, an obstacle course, an art exhibition and a selection of food and drink.
The Family Fun Day will take place at the University’s Park Campus in Cheltenham on Sunday, 26 July from 10am to 3pm. Parking and admission are both free.
The event also provides an opportunity for visitors to enjoy the University’s newly installed sculpture, Tommy, by world-renowned sculptor Sir Tony Cragg CBE.
Katharine Clough, Pro Vice-Chancellor at the University, said: “We’re delighted to welcome families and members of the local community to Park Campus for what promises to be a brilliant day of fun and entertainment.
“Our first Family Fun Day is a great opportunity for people to enjoy our beautiful Park campus, meet others from the community and take part in a wide range of activities for all ages.
“We’re really proud to be an important part of the Cheltenham community, and events like this help us bring people together, celebrate local talent and create a welcoming space for everyone.”
