University of Gloucestershire Climbs Prestigious League Table
University of Gloucestershire has climbed 6 places in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2026.
Published today, the guide provides prospective students with essential information for making informed higher education choices, evaluating aspects from teaching quality and student experience, to degree completion rates and graduate employment prospects at 130 UK universities.
These results see University of Gloucestershire rising the ranks for the second year running – last year it climbed 22 places, with only one other University gaining more places.
Dame Clare Marchant, DBE, Vice-Chancellor of University of Gloucestershire, said: “Climbing this important league table two years running really is a testament to our sustained efforts to create the best possible experience for our students.
“Our Connected University approach is creating vibrant campuses while also building strong links with employers and our local communities. It is great to see that this work is resulting in a positive different for our students – both in terms of their experience while at University but also in terms of their onward journey into employment or further study.”
Today’s results also come on the back of exceptional performances in the Complete University Guide 2026 and the Guardian University Guide 2026.
