Start and Grow Enterprise
Start and Grow Enterprise is for Gloucestershire based pre-start, start-ups, and enterprises (up to 3 years) at any stage of their business journey. A range of events, workshops, networks and reviews will be provided for eligible entrepreneurs, aiming to remove obstacles to progression and provide expert support resources and a powerful community to help grow successful businesses.

Gloucestershire’s Accelerated Impact Network Support (GAINS)
GAINS is for SMEs from Gloucestershire and provides a new package of activities to support local businesses looking to grow. Eligible SMEs can access high quality subsidised business coaching, free masterclasses on the issues contributing to growth, and networking events for learning and support from other companies with the potential to increase productivity and profitability.

Gloucestershire Research and Innovation Project (GRIP)
GRIP, a project funded by the European Regional Development Fund, provided support to Gloucestershire based SMEs that considered innovation to be key to growth. The project provided access to much needed support areas such as research and knowledge resources, an innovation lab (housing a 3D printer for rapid prototyping), supply chain engagement, workshops and events, clustering and networking, innovation teams, product/service development, commercialisation and IP advice and guidance.
GRIP successfully supported 120 local businesses develop their ideas and grow through innovation.

Growing Opportunities for Apprenticeships Locally (GOAL)
GOAL showcases apprenticeships and facilitates engagement with local businesses to provide apprenticeship opportunities. SGS College, together
with partners, University of Gloucestershire (including the Gloucestershire Growth Hub) Gloucestershire Enterprise Limited, and Gloucestershire College, are working with SMEs, those employers with less than 250 employees and whose wage bill falls below the £3,000,000 per annum apprenticeship levy threshold, to train and upskill their existing workforce.
