Discover our range of sports facilities available for hire at University of Gloucestershire.

Our sporting facilities can be booked by local teams, schools and organisations across our Oxstalls Arena and Oxstalls Sports Hall & Park MUGA.

Oxstalls Arena

Oxstalls Arena

Our impressive state-of-the-art arena is 60m x 34m and has pull-out seating for up to 751 people. Sports available are:

  • Badminton
  • Basketball
  • Netball
  • 5 a-side Football
  • Futsal

3G Pitches

These include:

  • 3G Football Pitch (FIFA compliant) – Full size pitch or 5/7/9 a side
  • 3G Rugby Pitch (World Rugby compliant) – Full size pitch or 5/7/9 a side

Oxstalls Campus

Oxstalls Campus Sports Hall

Our Sports Hall on our main campus is 33m x 18m and has a viewing gallery for up to 55 people. Sports available are:

  • Badminton
  • Basketball
  • Netball
  • Futsal
  • Volleyball
  • Cricket (4x Lanes)
  • 5 a-side Football

Oxstalls Campus Rehabilitation Studio

The sports rehabilitation studio with wall of mirrors and sprung wooden floor specifically designed for dance, all forms of martial arts, table tennis, gym classes and an NHS physical activity referral scheme.

Oxstalls Campus Strength and Conditioning Suite

The strength and conditioning suite allows clubs, schools and organisations access to top class facilities.

The space is home to 8 lifting platforms, a built-in force plate and a range of equipment to enhance the user experience and learning opportunities.

Large doors also open directly into the Sports Hall for training that demands extra space such as sprint and plyometric work.

Oxstalls Campus Fitness

Our fitness suite specialises in a number of key areas, from rehabilitation and referrals to personal fitness programmes and assessments delivered by our qualified and highly experienced team.

The fitness suite has a number of different memberships open to all tailor-made depending on your requirements.

Park Campus

MUGA Pitch

Our outdoor Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) pitch is available to hire for the following activities:

  • Netball
  • Tennis
  • Basketball
  • 5 aside football

Location: Cheltenham (GL50 2RH)

Please note currently for the MUGA Pitch we can only facilitate either adhoc full day bookings, or block bookings for regular hirers.
