Stroud businesswoman is a book saver
A Stroud based businesswomen, Ami Baker, and her husband have started a business to find books a new home. The main concept of their company, Reusabook, is so that no books find their way to landfill. The company collects books, sort through them and either sell them with 60% profit going to Oxfam or donate them to less developed countries. Currently, Reusabook is working with Oxfam and the University of Gloucestershire to collect unwanted books and textbooks.
The business is every growing with large shipments of 25 tonnes to India and they are expanding to other products too such as home products that they can sell to overseas.
