University hosting public exhibition of new vision in Gloucester

Members of the public are invited to drop in to the University of Gloucestershire’s Oxstalls Campus to view initial plans to work with partners, including the City and County Councils, to develop facilities for higher education, business services and sport in Gloucester.

Two informal public exhibitions are being held between 4pm and 7pm on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 April where local residents will be encouraged to leave their initial thoughts and indicate their interest in being part of a wider stakeholder group. Representatives from the University and City and County Councils will also be on hand to answer questions.

Announced last month, the ambitious proposals will see the University working in partnership with both councils and a range of sporting bodies to invest in new sporting facilities for the benefit of students and the community. The plans will also see the University’s Business School, currently housed at the Park Campus, Cheltenham, moved to Gloucester to create a hub for business education, consultancy and business services in the city.
