UoG climbs 22 places in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide

University of Gloucestershire is one of the top two highest climbers in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025, moving up 22 places in the prestigious league table.

Published today, the guide provides prospective students with essential information for making informed higher education choices, evaluating aspects from teaching quality and student experience to degree completion rates and graduate employment prospects at 134 UK universities.

Only one other university climbed more places in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025 league table than University of Gloucestershire, which is ranked number one in Gloucestershire.

The University’s improved ranking is a further sign of its continued progress in delivering an improved student experience and outcomes.

It follows improved results in the Complete University Guide 2025, and being rated among the best in the UK in the latest Graduate Outcomes Survey.

As part of its ongoing commitment to delivering a high-quality student experience, the University is investing a range of new facilities and equipment, including a state-of-the-art computing, cyber and games hub at its Park campus in Cheltenham, and a vibrant, modern campus in the heart of Gloucester city centre.
