University of Gloucestershire Business School voted one of the Top 10 in the UK by students

The University of Gloucestershire’s School of Business & Technology has been named the 7th best Business School in the UK as voted by students on the Student Crowd review site.

Student Crowd analysed over 9,300 course reviews from students at universities across the UK to compile the top 20 University Business Schools in the UK for 2019. Revealing the results, Student Crowd said: “With the popularity of Business related degrees in the UK on the rise and showing no signs of slowing down, it’s more important than ever that universities offer top class courses, facilities and career prospects.”
The new Business School and Growth Hub building at Oxstalls campus in Gloucester opened in September 2018 after an £18m investment in modern, fit for purpose facilities offering a high quality environment for teaching and learning. It features a business incubation centre, Thompson Reuters trading rooms, its own moot courtroom, and equipment on par with that of corporate headquarters the world over.
One Student Crowd reviewer commented: “As soon as I set foot in University of Gloucestershire on an open day I knew it was the place for me. Amazing staff and facilities as well as opportunities outside of the curriculum. They offered professional workshops and contacts which set me up for the working world. It was the best 3 years of my life and I am so grateful for the friends I’ve made.”
Professor Kamal Bechkoum, Head of the School of Business & Technology at the University of Gloucestershire, said:
“What we offer our students is a distinctive real-life, hands-on experience of business, so that we give them the best possible preparation for successful business careers. By co-locating our business students, business staff and all of our business services under one roof at Oxstalls campus in Gloucester, we have created an exceptional environment in which students, staff, business clients and business partners can all work together for mutual benefit.
“The Business School is home to the next generation of business leaders, innovative thinkers and talent. From placements and internships, guest lecturers, and graduate recruitment, to higher and degree apprenticeship programmes, we can offer companies the fresh thinking and expertise to boost any organisation.”
