After studying at both undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Gloucestershire, Jamie returned to his home town of Swindon to work in recruitment. After six years of working in corporate sales and recruitment, he founded Correct Careers Coaching, which helps small businesses and individuals retain their staff as well as offering coaching and guidance for employees at all levels. He found that his time at university gave him a strong mindset for completing projects and seeking self-learning opportunities. “The turning point for me was during my dissertation,” said Jamie, “I acquired new knowledge and applied different capabilities.” Jamie is now using his knowledge to help others and has already trained businesses in more than 12 different industry sectors, as well as running workshops and public speaking at a number of engagements.
