Course overview

Become a business leader in the global market. You’ll study business on an international scale, covering areas such as how to manage operations globally and cultural issues in management, perfectly preparing you for an international career.

Develop skills in managing people, projects, finance, HR, marketing and logistics across different cultures and environments. Understand the global economy and explore global sustainability issues and ethics.

You’ll learn through lectures, workshops, reflective practice and business simulations. In your first year you’ll cover all aspects of business management including business law, marketing principles and understanding financial information. Learning from people who have been there and done it.

International brands and business figures will give you insight into how to succeed in global business. Real-world application is embedded throughout your learning and you’ll analyse actual case studies, take part in work simulations and pitch your ideas to business experts.

In your final year you’ll take part in an exciting business challenge with an international or UK brand.

This course is available to study with an integrated foundation year – an extra, introductory year at the beginning of the full degree. If you don’t meet the stated entry requirements or you’re returning to education, it could be a great option that enables you to study this course.

As well as an introduction to your subject, it will help you to develop valuable study skills, and communication, teamwork and problem-solving techniques, giving you the confidence and skills set you need to progress.

If you’re applying to study as an international student, an integrated foundation year can also support you to improve your English language skills alongside your studies.

To apply for this course with an integrated foundation year, select the ‘With foundation year’ study type from the options at the top of this page before clicking ‘Apply’.

My degree enabled me to create a sound business structure. I really enjoyed studying stock markets. They change so rapidly which is what I love about global business. I opened an e-commerce console accessories shop in my placement year. It made me realise I want to build something big!”
