I was granted the Merit Scholarship for International Students

Zoey joined University of Gloucestershire from Vietnam in 2019 and has recently graduated in MSc Human Resource Management

“One of the most important reasons that I chose this university was that I was granted the Merit Scholarship for International Students that covered 50% of the tuition fees. This was a big motivation for me to go for the offer. As an international student, it was such a huge support for me financially. Because there were a lot of costs that came to me when thinking of studying abroad as well as relocating and settling down in a new country. When receiving the offer, I felt that my dream could come true. 

“I found out that the university offered one-to-one teaching from the Achievement Team. The team includes very experienced tutors who have had extensive teaching and working experience and will spend one hour privately guiding students to tackle any studying difficulty.

“As an international student, I felt the welcome and support from all the lecturers, university staff and students. The university had a variety of communities run by students and activities for international students to engage more with each other and with the university. At the beginning of the course, the university organised some free trips for international students to travel and visit famous and historical places in the UK such as Oxford, Bath.

“My lecturers were not only very professional and highly experienced in their area and teaching but also incredibly supportive and considerate. I love the way they gave us a lot of opportunities to discuss and raise our ideas and encouraged us to work as a team.”
