“I am incredibly proud to be a University of Gloucestershire graduate. Studying Geography has given me an extensive understanding of critical global challenges, their origins and possible solutions. Having a broad physical and human geography background has been essential in my current role in the UK Civil Service.
Since graduating, I’ve worked on improving market access across Africa, acted in a Minister’s Private Office, and been surged into essential Covid-19 work. I currently work as a Sustainable Development Policy Advisor for the Department for International Trade where I ensure trade does not come at the expense of the environment or workers across the world.”
