Nursing students excel on first-year placement

First-year nursing students, Tash and Izzy, have completed a successful placement at a local nursing home in Cheltenham. University of Gloucestershire have been partnered with St Faith’s nursing home for over six years, offering valuable placements to students on our nursing courses.

Pauline Okposi, St Faith’s Clinical Lead and student mentor commented on Tash and Izzy’s attitudes on their placement: “All the staff said how enthusiastic they were and they were approachable and with a good, positive approach to everything, we were learning, even in emergency situations.”

Tash said: “From day one I was welcomed into the St Faith’s family. It has been an incredible 9 weeks here on placement. I have learnt so much from all the staff and I am so grateful to have worked with such an incredible team of people.”
