“Before commencing the course, I did not know what to expect and was extremely apprehensive about the practice experience. It has been a challenging and full-on journey, but as I make my way through my third and final year, I can look back and say I have enjoyed every moment.
The course is designed to build up your confidence and knowledge over the three years, and the lecturers and practice education teams ensure you are supported through out. The smaller cohorts really allow you to get to know all your peers and their support and solidarity is invaluable.
There is an opportunity to see and do everything within your scope of practice when on placement. The best moment I have experienced so far, was assisting with the delivery of my first set of twins via c-section in the maternity theatre”.
