Study your passion and leave doors open

Trinity chose to study BSc Forensic Psychology at UoG due to the interesting modules and the fact that the course gives her numerous options for life post-uni.

After studying criminology and psychology at A level, Trinity decided that her passion lay in forensic psychology. Having visited different universities, she chose to study at UoG due to the course’s interesting modules.

“I really like that you get some more general psychology modules, some criminology modules and some specific forensic psychology modules. It allows you to understand the discipline much better.”

Trinity enjoys uni life – she explains a typical day: “In the morning, I usually just get myself ready and go to my lectures, where I will take notes. In the afternoon, I go to the gym or hang out with my friends – one of the benefits of living here in Cheltenham, is that town isn’t far away. In the evening, I go to the library and spend a few hours on my assignments. The library is open 24 hours a day, which is great for night owls like me.”

During her time at UoG, Trinity has found the lecturers incredibly supportive. She also enjoys that, despite specialising on forensic psychology, she has numerous options after graduating as the course is accredited by the British Psychological Society. Currently, she is doing a placement with the Perinatal Mental Health Team.
