About

I’m from a computer field. I studied computer science and I just passed in 2021. I wanted to take my PGT course in the same subject area. So, I chose MSc Data Science to know about more practical knowledge. I applied to two or three universities in the UK. With a degree from UK, you can have more opportunities in the IT field, and it has bigger value in my country. Also, all the countries recognise UK qualifications.

Application process

In the education agency, they come and meet you, and help you choose which University to apply to. They also helped me on how to approach a university interview. For all the stages of application process they helped me to do the next step. The agency made the whole process faster. Within one month, I was able to reach here.

Accommodation

We struggled for the accommodation. I wanted shared accommodation as it is not so costly. My friend recommended a family from our country. I am sharing with students from my campus.

Course

We get more practical knowledge compared to our country. In my country it is more theory based, but in the UK they give more importance to practical knowledge.

Life as a student

There is an international group here on campus, students meeting and doing functions, so I just participated in it. We played badminton.

Travelling

I went to South Wales to visit my cousins.
