What else is possible when art intersects with everyday life?
The University of Gloucestershire has developed a new constellation of public galleries and outdoor sculptures at Park Campus, Cheltenham in 2025.
The ambition of the galleries and sculpture park is to build on the success of the university’s Hardwick Gallery, which was a keystone organisation in the regional contemporary arts ecology.
Park Galleries offer space to gather communities around the creation of culture and an exchange of knowledge, ideas and experience through a diverse range of artistic and research practices.
Organised by director Sarah Bowden, Park Galleries hosts artists, students, and guest curators, cross-pollinating grassroots activity with international collaborations to produce an interdisciplinary, social and discursive programme of exhibitions, events, residencies, conferences and symposia.
