Cyber and Digital Launchpad 2026

Bringing employers and learners together to meet the sector’s future job demands.

University of Gloucestershire is once again joining forces with employers from across the county’s cyber and digital sector offering new apprenticeship opportunities as part of the Cyber and Digital Launchpad scheme.

The scheme enables employers to be meet with new recruits keen to embark on a career in cyber and digital, while gaining a degree qualification as part of their apprenticeship.

University of Gloucestershire is hosting two key cyber and digital events – one for employers and one for learners. Our Employer Roundtable Event, took place on Thursday 29 January 2026, bringing together organisations from all sectors interested in recruiting cyber and digital apprentices. Employers gained valuable insight into how apprenticeships work at UoG and how they can benefit their workforce.

Our Employer Roundtable Event took place on Thursday 29 January 2026.

The Gloucestershire Cyber and Digital Launchpad Employer Roundtable enhances partnerships between local businesses and the University of Gloucestershire, helping employers learn more about the scheme and access the next generation of talent in cyber security, software engineering, network engineering, and data analysis through degree apprenticeships.

The event was also an opportunity to connect with other employers, meet our expert academics and find out about the unique support on offer.

How the Launchpad scheme works

We’re currently partnered with a range of organisations including Cyber Security Associates, Salus, Cyberis and Gloucester City Council.

Through our collaborations with schools, colleges and community organisations, we’re able to help employers find suitable candidates to fill new apprenticeship roles starting September 2026.
