Elwes Gallery, Park Campus, GL50 2RH

This exhibition opens to the public on Wednesday 15 October at the Elwes gallery, Park Campus. The show invites visitors to explore how sculptors engage with landscape, transforming experience and vision into form.

There’s a special exhibition launch event on Tuesday 14 October, 4.30pm–6.30pm, featuring Bill Woodrow in conversation with Dr Jon Wood, Senior Research Fellow at University of Gloucestershire.

Bill Woodrow is a key figure in the New British Sculpture movement, known for his innovative use of discarded materials.

This exhibition marks a new chapter in his exploration of landscape and materiality, shaped by ideas inherited from conceptual and land art traditions.

The exhibition is open from Wednesday 15 October to Wednesday 26 November 2025, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.
