We are excited to announce that the School of Arts, Culture and Environment annual conference will be held at Francis Close Hall on Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 May, and we are now accepting presentation proposals. We welcome submissions from staff and students from across the School.

We are looking for either 20-minute talks (these can be delivered in person or via Teams), or poster presentations (to be displayed/discussed during breaks between panels), that respond to the broad theme of Creative Environments: Stories, Ethics, and Practice. Topics could range from facilitation of the arts in educational and community settings, to using creative media to explore different places and times, from engagement with local creative/cultural projects and networks, to research/practice that champions ways of tackling environmental/ecological crises – and much more besides.

Please submit an abstract of no more than 300 words, and a bio of no more than 100 words, using the Microsoft Form below (you’ll need to be logged in to your UoG account) by the deadline, Friday 23 March.

Once we have received and reviewed all proposals shortly after the submission deadline, free tickets, for all members of the School community, will be available to book.

Any queries/issues, please email [email protected]

We look forward to receiving your proposals!
