UNITAR x University of Gloucestershire: MSc Sustainable Global Futures

Monday 22 June 2026 2pm BST (3pm CEST)

Join representatives from UNITAR and the University of Gloucestershire as we tell you more about our brand-new online MSc in Sustainable Global Futures!

This webinar will explain how our MSc programme combines varied and rigorous academic learning with UN expertise.

We will be joined by Professor of Development And Community, Kenny Lynch, who will present a Research Case Study on ‘Sanitation, Sustainability, and the Urban Edge’. He will address the question: How does rapid urban growth affect access to safe sanitation?

Using a case study from Hyderabad, he explores why peri-urban communities often face the greatest sanitation challenges, and what more inclusive, locally tailored solutions could mean for sustainable cities.

Professor Lynch’s research will give you a unique insight into the kinds of sustainability topics explored in this master’s programme. Join us to learn about the course structure and content, and how this flexible, online master’s can accelerate your professional growth.

There will be a live Q&A at the end for prospective applicants.
