Last updated: 8 March 2021

As one of the UK’s most successful volunteer ENTE (Evening and Night-Time Economy) safeguarding and welfare service providers, Cheltenham Guardians work tirelessly to keep thousands of young adults’ safe in our university town.

Their specialist welfare officers are among the most experienced distress care responders in the UK, and are equipped to deal with a wide range of incidents and emergencies. From low level care cases, to high risk interventions.

Cheltenham Guardians are a valuable asset to the community and an important strategic partner to the police and local authority. Due to their inclusion in the overall policing response to Cheltenham’s evening and night-time economy, the safety of all visitors and residents has comprehensively increased – including students who now call Cheltenham, home.
