Please see the below for details of how to get to the University of Gloucestershire from the main international airports:

Heathrow Airport

Coach

The National Express coach company offers a coach service between London Heathrow and Cheltenham or Gloucester. This service takes around 3 hours to Cheltenham, and 3h 30m to Gloucester.

Coaches depart from terminals 2, 3 and 5 and tickets can be bought from the National Express ticket desk at any of these terminals. You are also able to book tickets in advance on the National Express website – www.nationalexpress.com

Train

There are regular train services to both Cheltenham and Gloucester train stations from Heathrow Airport. You will usually have to change trains at either London Paddington and/or Bristol Parkway stations. The journey time is around 2h 30m.

Taxi

There are also various taxis services available to book from Heathrow Airport. This option may be more expensive, but better suited for those with families or lots of luggage.

There are Kiosks for most services within the arrivals terminals at the airport, but these services can also be booked via https://www.heathrow.com/transport-and-directions/by-taxi-or-mini-cab

Gatwick Airport

Coach

The National Express coach company offers a coach service between London Gatwick and Cheltenham or Gloucester. This service takes around 4h 15m to Cheltenham, and 4h 45m to Gloucester.

Coaches depart from the North and South terminals, and tickets can be bought from the National Express ticket desk at any of these terminals. You are also able to book tickets in advance on the National Express website – www.nationalexpress.com

Train

There are regular train services to both Cheltenham and Gloucester train stations from Gatwick Airport. You will usually have to change trains at either Reading and/or Bristol Parkway stations. The journey time is around 3h 30m.

Train

There are regular train services to both Cheltenham and Gloucester train stations from Birmingham International. You will usually have to change trains at Birmingham New Street Station. The journey time is around 1h 15m.

Stagecoach Bus Services
