Purchase tickets before travel at heathrowexpress.com, from the sales team in Arrivals or from a ticket machine in stations. Contactless and Oyster cards can be used for single journeys.
- TfL Rail: Stopping service to London Paddington and Heathrow Airport departing every 30 minutes and calling at local stations in west London. Journey time varies between 31 and 49 minutes.
- Heathrow Connect has been replaced by TfL Rail services between Terminals 2, 3, & 4 to London Paddington. Purchase a point to point ticket at a ticket machine or pay as you go with Oyster, contactless and Zone 6 Travelcards.
- Oyster cards require a minimum balance of £6.20 to pay as you go.
- Heathrow Express tickets are not accepted on TfL Rail services.
- From Cheltenham Spa, you can get a taxi from the station car park (platform 1 side).
- There is also a bus from Cheltenham Spa directly to the centre of Cheltenham/Pittville/Cheltenham Racecourse (D or E bus, Stagecoach Buses). From Cheltenham Promenade you can get the 94 bus to Oxstalls Campus and the centre of Gloucester (Stagecoach Buses).

LHR T2 to Cheltenham by coach:
- All coach services call at the Heathrow central bus station, which is a short walk from the terminals and has lifts, escalators and moving walkways to help with the journey. The bus station is open 24 hours a day and the travel centre is open from 06:00 to 22:30.
- National Express direct coach from Heathrow Airport London T2,3 to Cheltenham. Approximately 2 hours – 2 hours 15 minutes.
- Tickets for all coaches can be bought from the ticket office at Heathrow central bus station (06:00 – 22:10) or online. Ticket machines are also available 24 hours a day. From Cheltenham Royal Well Coach Station, you can find taxis on Cheltenham Promenade (2 minute walk). You will need cash for taxis.
LHR T2 to Cheltenham by taxi

Local buses and free transfers to the Heathrow central bus station and Terminal 4 use Stops 4 to 8. For more frequent coach services, change to London Heathrow Airport T2 & T3 (LHR). You can take a free Heathrow Express train in between terminals.

- National Express from Gatwick Airport London North to Heathrow Airport London T2,3, then change to National Express from Heathrow Airport London T2,3 to Cheltenham (approximately 3 hours 40 minutes – 4 hours 15 minutes in total). It is also possible to get the coach from Gatwick Airport London North to London Victoria Coach Station, and then get a coach from London Victoria Coach Station to Cheltenham (around 4 hours 35 minutes in total).

Gatwick South Terminal to Cheltenham by coach:
